John's Commissioning

John was commissioned as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church on June 12th. This means he has 3 more years until he is officially ordained. It was a special moment to see him get this far. He had to complete many courses in seminary and meet with many boards to get where he is now. I am so proud of him as is the rest of his family. He is such a good minister and we all know God will continue to do great things through him. We love you very much John and we are all VERY PROUD of you. Thank you to everyone that came and supported us in this milestone. We are very grateful to everyone that has prayed for us, given to his scholarship, encouraged and mentored John, guided him in this process and cheered him on. We still have more ahead with graduation and ordination but we want to pause and give thanks for this accomplishment and to all of you that made this possible.
